Preparation and allocation of operating/capital budgets. Planned for new facility to be built in 2007, working with all departments concerned. Some travel was required to look at existing facilities. Executive Produced first ever Christmas show deviating completely from the existing format. Built new production facility with engineering including equipment and staffing. Cross trained staff on all equipment.

Internet software development operation. Responsibilities include all marketing operations, systems consulting and hardware/software analysis, with specialization in the area of data/dynamic web development.

HighTouch Technologies, Inc. was merged into Retek in May, 2000. New responsibilities included creation and implementation of customer support program for both internal and external use via the WEB. Once project/knowledge transfer was complete, I left the company to concentrate on my own consulting practice.

Product: Designed and built from the ground up as a dedicated business-to-consumer solution, providing integrated, enterprise-wide technology for Customer Relationship Management needs. The product suite constructed of stand alone yet fully integrated modules that provide a 24X7 virtual sales and marketing machine encompassing sales, order processing, customer service, fulfillment, direct marketing and loyalty marketing. It also includes an additional special component for global direct sales and network marketing companies.

Company merged with Retek, Inc. June, 2000

Product was developed entirely on Oracle technology; Designer 2000 and Developer 2000.

Created software development team for a B to C Oracle based order entry system. Responsibilities included project management, staff allocation, software testing/review, and hardware procurement. The project was later sold to HighTouch Technologies, Inc.

Preparation and allocation of operating/capital budgets in excess of 9 million dollars annually, corporate liaison to MIS services (MIS Steering Committee), with project leader responsibilities on most projects involving the transactional business, technical consultant (Production), staff allocation, supervision of new employee training programs, and the development of all production projects relating to the broadcast and retail format.

Preparation and allocation of operating/capital budgets. Assisted in training other department heads in utilizing a software based budget process. Staggered network show times by one hour allowing more efficient scheduling of staff. Entire crews were teamed and floated between networks alleviating personnel needed for breaks/lunches etc.. Extra personnel were then utilized for set changes propping, vacation coverage, etc..

Preparation and allocation of operating/capital budgets. Solidified relationship with local community college for staff recruitment purposes. Served on their board of advisors for curriculum and community projects involving production in their mobile facility. This allowed me the opportunity to view potential staff before hiring and spending potential training capital.

Manager of Master Control 12/1989 – 10/1991

Transitioned scheduling of staff from paper to computer on software I provided written in Fox Plus. Cross-trained approximately half of the Chyron staff as Technical Directors allowing for promotion from within the department. Cut departmental turnover rate from 25% every three months to approximately 15% annually.

Produced and Directed Celebrity Shopping Network

Transitioned a staff of 23 Technical Directors, 18 Chyron Operators, and 19 Audio Operators to new studio environment. Hired and trained 21 camera operators on Vinten Robotics. Transition completed from old facility to new in 60 days.
